Please allow 90 minutes for your initial consultation. Wear a face covering to your session, although they are provided if you happen to forget. Bring a pair of sports shorts if you own them and clothing that allows you to move easily as this makes assessment easier. Postural analysis and testing to the relevant joints and soft tissues will be carried out. Everything identified will be detailed and explained to you as we work together to resolve your issues and restore you to optimal health.
The Soft Tissues of the musculoskeletal system consist of the muscles, fascia, tendons and ligaments. Using his knowledge of the tensional relationship between these structures, Matt specifically releases certain areas to realign the body and restore optimal biomechanical function to joints. Stretch exercises are given to reinforce the changes made, and where necessary strengthening exercises are given to activate the lengthened and weakened muscles. Start your journey back to pain free confident movement today.
Following your session, you will be asked to drink plenty of water to rehydrate. If advised, an ice pack should be applied to specific areas. This will be applied for 15 minutes, removed for 45 and then reapplied for a further 15 minutes. Exercises that will have been illustrated and explained in your session should be carried out as advised.
